Content Uploader · Last updated 8 November 2026
Content Uploader is a private tool. Its owner uses it to upload and schedule videos on their own YouTube channels. Only the owner's Google accounts are connected to it, and nobody else's data is collected.
What it accesses
- Basic channel details: channel name, handle and ID.
- Details of videos on the owner's channels, such as titles and upload status.
- Permission to upload videos and to manage videos and subtitles on those channels.
How that data is used
It's used only to upload and schedule the owner's videos, and to confirm the tool is working on the right channel. It isn't used for advertising.
Where it's stored
The sign-in permission and channel details are kept in a private folder on the owner's own computer. They aren't stored on any server run for this tool. The videos themselves are held by YouTube once uploaded.
Who it's shared with
Data isn't sold. It goes to YouTube, because that's how the tool works. The owner runs the tool with the help of Claude, an AI assistant made by Anthropic, which can see channel names and video details while it works. It isn't shared with anyone else.
Google and YouTube
This tool uses YouTube API Services. See the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Removing access
Access can be removed at any time from the Google Account connections page. Deleting the private folder on the owner's computer removes the stored data.
